Thanks!
We are fortunate to have so many committed, talented volunteers
to help us move forward. Thanks as well to our many contributing
members.
Bev
VanDeurzen, the BCRP First Vice Chair, and Darlene Marcelle,
current Brown County Clerk, received their 2012 Outstanding
Service Awards at the 2012 Lincoln-Reagan Dinner.

Bev
sitting with Wisconsin Lieutenant Governor Rebecca Kleefisch
during a Lincoln-Reagan Dinner. Bev's contributions in time
and leadership to the BC Party are remarkable. She has worked
for decades, supporting candidates for low office and high,
and finds time somehow to help just about everyone and all
things Republican. We are fortunate to have her as a fearless
advocate, handling the smallest and largest tasks with equal
ease and good humor. Thank you, Bev, for your generosity
and commitment.

Darlene
Marcelle has also been a tireless worker, finding time somehow,
between the responsibilities of her full time job as Brown
County Clerk, to help candidates with their many questions
and problems. Whether some tiny detail concerning ballots,
or a large one related to county-wide issues, she has always
been there by phone, in person, by mail and by email, shaping
Brown County policy at the level that counts: the details.
Our thanks for her effort and support are boundless. Thanks
again, Bev and Darlene, for setting such fine examples for
us all.
Convention Pictures
The Brown County
Republican Party was proud to have hosted the 2012 Wisconsin
State Republican Convention in Green Bay, in the shadow
of Lambeau Field. Surely Vice Lombardi would have been proud
of our accomplishments, and our commitment to winning. Visit
our pic page to see some of the
speakers who shared their time and vision for the future.

Candidate Calendar
With
regular elections, primary elections, primaries for
recall elections, and special recall elections, we regret
to announce that we can no longer maintain an events calendar
for candidates. Multiple candidates scheduling multiple
events, often with only a few days notice, have made this
impossible. Also, many of those running for office have
several websites, and announcements switch between them.
We suggest that all Republicans interested in the candidates
subscribe directly to their individual mailing lists, and/or
their individual website updates.
The True Face of the Democratic Party.

The
old Dem Party of 30 years ago is dead. The
Democratic Party has been totally taken over the Far Left,
which believes in confrontation and agitation, and finds
urinating in our Capitol building to be just fine. John
Kennedy, a true capitalist, would flee the current Dem Party.
The new reality is a Dem Party as committed to agendas as
the Politburo, behind a gauzy curtain of "caring"
for the people. They firmly believe that their ends justify
their means. This is the true face of the Democratic Party
in Wisconsin today.

Please note: In
accordance with our Brown County Republican Party Constitution,
we do not endorse candidates prior to a primary election.
Individual
party members can and should support candidates of their
choice and we encourage them to do so. However, neither
the Brown County Party as an organization nor members of
the Executive Committee can endorse or actively
participate in primary campaigns.
We
are proud of all Republicans. Running for office is
a commitment to leadership that can never be fully acknowledged.
After a primary, the BC Party strongly supports those Republicans
chosen by you, the voters.
BCRP
Executive Committee Meetings are monthly, usually Wednesdays.
Regular meetings are closed sessions due to the sensitive
topics dealt with, but please contact the Chair or office@bcrepublicans.org
for further details.

New Directions
Given
the many sources for state and national news, we have a
new feature on local issues, raising questions perhaps less
covered by the local press. The BC Buzz has just
mailed its third issue, a bimonthly newspaper that is both
challenging and humorous.

Profiles in Courage
For
years Republicans have wished for strong leadership willing
to make tough choices. We are so proud of our GOP representatives.
Here are pics of just some of our leaders fighting for Northeast
Wisconsin values each day. Thank them for their courage,
and let them know you support them.
